Going to the Beach

You are a 25-minute walk from Plage des Prophètes. The journey is magnificent, passing through the small streets of Roucas Blanc. In summer, we recommend going in the morning before 11 AM. The weather is still pleasant, and only a few regulars are there. Before heading back, don’t forget to sit on a terrace, enjoy a drink, and take in the beautiful view.

The Calanques

For more nature, nothing beats the Calanques. They are especially pleasant in the evening when the rocks are still warm and the sea is delightful. Don’t forget a chilled glass of rosé...

The Blue Coast

Little known to the general public, the Blue Coast is the coastal area of the Rove and Ensuès-la-Redonne. We recommend the squid at La Pergola restaurant—a true paradise. For the more adventurous (not recommended for children), you can swim and sunbathe in peace, surrounded by the sound of cicadas.

Exhibitions and Museums

Marseille has 26 museums, some of which are worth visiting. Here are a few that we find interesting: Mucem, [MAC], Frac, La Vieille Charité, Château Borély, Musée Cantini...
